Shilpa is the CBB Winner 2007 - Thanks to YOU!
Shilpa Shetty was crowned the winner of Celebrity Big Brother 2007 on Sunday with over 60% of the vote. The runner up was Jermaine Jackson, showing that the two most dignified housemates got their due.
Shilpa's time in the house has been one that has seen many memorable moments including:
Discussing Gandhi's philosophy with Dirk
Dirk and Shilpa's flirtatious fun
Shilpa: So you should marry when you're 60? That's what I think I'll do..
Dirk: Honey, I can't wait that long..!
Shilpa showing grace under fire throughout the arguments with Jade
Shilpa's respect for other housemates, especially elders and always retreating to her parents' pictures when things got tough

Shilpa has entertained the nation with a smile, been a sign of strength when tested and united people of all creeds and colours like never before. Quite simply, it's been a journey we've all taken with her and I want to thank all those who have contacted me expressing concern, love and support for Shilpa.
She truly deserved to win and did us all proud even when she came out.

Breaking News: Official Statement from Shilpa's Family
"Since Shilpa's recent appearance on Celebrity Big Brother and the international attention she has received, many people are claiming to know her, represent the family and are using this opportunity to seek publicity for themselves by attacking us.
We have maintained a dignified silence and not responded to malicious gossip, accusations and rumours and would like to clarify that only official statements from the family represent our view. We are very proud of SHilpa for all she has achieved and the love she is receiving from across the globe uniting people of every background in their support for her. We thank you for your continued support for Shilpa at a time when some people are trying to stake their claim on her given she is making Indians proud on a global scale."

Shilpa's First Flurries
Shilpa woke up this morning to a blanket of snow layered over the BB lawn. Excited at this sight she squealed to the other housemates how she'd never seen snow before. She then proceeds to dress up like an old woman (a relative of Aunt Jamilah?) who will 'go out and plow the ice-clogged fields'! Shilpa is certainly keeping everyone in the house on their toes - she's even introduced 2 new housemates - Aunt Jamilah and her friend who clears the snow!
